Bay is another pearl of Omis Riviera. Vruja is also called Vrulja or Dubci. Bay is situated halfway between Omis and Makarska. And at the foot of the mountain Biokovo is a beautiful beach with a renovated, elite restaurant and hotel. Near the beach is underwater source of the Cetina River, and this bay is an ideal place to cool off in the hot summen days. According to a local legend there is a sunken city Pelegrin whose bells are heard in stormy nights.

Bay can be easily reached by boats, and it is a favorite destination for tourist ships that sails from Omis or Mimice. Beach in Vruja is truly beautiful, and it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the whole Adriatic. There is a well on the beach with the natural spring water from the river Cetina. Here you will find meditating tranquility, and untouched nature.
